Drs. Andreas Hadjikofinas
Andreas Hadjikofinas (BSc, MSc, PhD (c)) is a researcher and PhD candidate at the Department of Maritime Studies of the University of Piraeus, Greece, specialising in ports and the maritime sector.
His research interests include ports management, economics, policy and geopolitics. He participated in several research projects and conferences related to the ports and maritime sector, contributing to both national and international initiatives.
He is a member of the Shipping & Ports Laboratory (SPL) of the Department of Maritime Studies of the University of Piraeus, Greece.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece and a Master’s degree in Shipping Management from the University of Piraeus, Greece.
Drs. Virginia Zarakeli
Mrs Virginia Zarakeli is a PhD candidate at the University of Piraeus, Department of Maritime Studies.
Her doctoral research examines the implications of the European Green Deal on the Port industry and related activities. She has participated in several research projects and conferences related to the maritime sector.
She is a member of the Shipping & Ports Laboratory (SPL) of the Department of Maritime Studies of the University of Piraeus, Greece.
She holds a master’s degree MSc in “Shipping from the Department of Maritime Studies University of Piraeus she has graduated from the BSc program “Political Science & Public Administration” of the School of Economics and Political Studies of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens.
