The Jean Monnet Chair in European Port Policy is pleased to announce the annual public lecture on the theme “European Ports: Reflection on policies & strategies for the energy transition”
The Chair will have the honour to welcome Professor Gordon Wilmsmeier (Hapag-Loyd Center for Shipping and Global Logistics (CSGL), Kühne Logistics University (KLU), Germany & Kühne Professorial Chair in Logistics, School of Management, Universidad de los Andes, Colombia), who will share insights on the evolving role of European ports in the context of energy transition and policy development. The lecture will offer perspectives on the policy tools and strategic pathways shaping the future of European ports in an increasingly complex energy landscape.
The lecture will take place on Tuesday, 28 April, from 16:15 to 18:00, at the Conference Hall of the University of Piraeus Campus.
The event is open to students, academics, professionals and all those interested in European Port Policy and sustainable development.
